Family Intervention
Family intervention helps families find and maintain health and stability. We provide support for families with a child, adolescent, or young adult who is struggling with their mental health. Families have specific ways of acting and being, and individuals also act in specific ways within a family. The interaction between the family unit and the individuals in it can be strained when an illness, such as a mental health disorder, is present. Through family intervention, we educate, equip, and empower the family via a specific path to improve areas of family functioning and manage any adaptations needed for a “new normal”.

our clients
Below are examples of families, just like you, who reached out and said we need help.
Our middle child was just diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and anxiety. He is nine and in many types of therapy, but I think we need something to help our family. What you offer seems perfect. What do we need to do to start?
I don’t know if we qualify for your services. Our son is 24 and struggling with substance use. He lives at home with us and his 3 younger brothers. We are concerned about him, his influence on his brothers and our family in general. We don’t know where to turn for help. Is this something you would be able to help with?
A friend of mine recommended you. I have been sharing with her some concerns we have had about our youngest son. I think we need a diagnosis for him and therapy too, but I want to get started with help for our family as soon as possible. He is scheduled for an evaluation, but not for four months because of the waitlist. Do you have any openings now, or soon?
We are at our wits end! We don’t know what exactly is wrong, but our family is struggling with a lot of tears, yelling, and isolating from each other. We don’t have a diagnosis for anyone, but we definitely need to get our family back on track.
